Sorry I’ve been gone so long! I’ve been busy finishing a wedding (preview very soon!) and doing a lot of planning/thinking about this upcoming year as a business. I hope to have a blog post outlining some of those thoughts sometime soon too. Right now they are a jumbled mess in my brain. But they are there!
For now, I thought I would post a few of Matt’s headshots! I have been asked a lot recently about headshots – I think in this modern, digital age, everyone needs a good headshot. Potential customers/friends/clients want to feel like they know you a bit, even just from your screen presence. I read somewhere that you decide if someone is trustworthy within a few seconds of looking at someone’s eyes. If you can establish that before you even meet a person, you are already a step ahead!
Anywho, I used to turn down headshots because I didn’t feel I could be creative with them, aka. they didn’t sound fun to me. And if I am going to have my own business, dangit, I WANT TO HAVE FUN. However, I have learned a lot about the art of a headshot and realized that so much more goes into it, from getting people to give you the expressions you want, to how to tilt your head to maximize your sexiness (OBVIOUSLY the most important one), and how to finish them to make the person look like a really good version of him or her self. So now it’s fun for me. 🙂

Oh yeah, the pictures of Matt. He’s entering a new profession – selling houses! He knows a lot about building and fixing houses, so I think he would be the perfect person to help you know what house to buy. Let me know if you need to buy or sell a house and I will hook you up with him!
