This is the extended family of one of my best friends! Sometimes I get a bad attitude about large family sessions. It always seems that most of them don’t want to be there, and it’s hard to have them look like art, or do anything other than have everyone look and smile at the camera. HOWEVER, these photos are all Karly’s mom wanted for Christmas. Her family is never all together, and she desperately wanted to capture it. I saw it through her eyes this time. I’m sure there will come a day where this is exactly all that I want and I won’t give a hoot about what the photographer considers art. I will just want a good photos of all my family members looking and smiling at the camera when they were all together. 🙂 I’m so glad I was able to help Karly give this gift to her sweet mama. That’s all that matters.
