Papa and Grandma Kleinsasser!

Pete’s parents were here last week!  They had not seen our new place in Denver yet and Pete had not seen them in over a year.  It was so wonderful to have them visit.  Cammy and Deacon just loved them instantly, even though they don’t get to see them much.  Here are some photos from our time!

We went for a swim in the indoor lazy river on Monday!

We got some fun time in the family hot tub as well. Have I mentioned the family hot tub is a brilliant idea?

We did lots of this. Some call it laying around. Others call it quality snuggle time.

Grandma taught Cammy all kinds of new things.

Grandma and Cammy played lots of dominoes, except they just built houses for the trains which I am fairly certain is not a common use for dominoes.

Papa and Deacon got along great.

We played lots of games after the kids were in bed. The Dice Game was the game of this night.

Very happy that she won the dice game!

We told him, "Absolutely NO checking your email in a comfortable chair." He obliged.

This sums up our rolls in documenting the family. I am in every video and Pete is in every picture.

Papa and Grandma bought Deacon an early birthday gift. Oooh, what's it going to be?

A drum! I can't be mad because: a) it was my idea because I knew he would love it so much, and b) because he does love it so much. Deacon was created to drum.

"Um, I heard the twos were terrible?"

Deacon is an EXPERT eater. I mean if you need to know how to eat, ask Deacon. He knows.

So cute and so lovable this boy of mine.

Grandma and Papa also got Cammy a gift - a Lite Brite! I have to prove I am an old person now and say that they don't make these like they used to! Something about a fire hazard.

Cam couldn't see it light up in the daylight so she went and sat in a box with it pressed up against her face to see it. She will go far with these kind of ingenious ideas.

We tried out a new hike with Papa!

"Um, can you help a sista out?!"

More gorgeous rocks that God somehow made. I should have paid attention in science class.

This picture is a classic. No idea why I love it so much.

Maybe all these hikes with her on my back are why my quads don't fit in my jeans anymore.

Me and my Baby G. I love her and she loves me.

We walked to the park one day. Well, Cammy scooted which was WAY slower than walking.

We went out to eat our last night. Anyone else concerned about what is next door to the Chinese Food restaurant?

Cammy LOVES chinese food. Um, isn't that why MSG was created? She also refuses to take a normal picture. I don't fight it.

We had a great time with lots of memories and we can’t wait to go visit them in San Diego this summer!
