This has been a strange-in-a-good-way winter for me. I moved here expecting to be snowed in and grouchy for 3 straight months. However, I got the unexpected surprise of being able to get out for a walk nearly every week as temps were usually in the 50s for at least a couple days of the week. I also fell in love with the sunshine on my face almost every day in the winter. Somehow the cold is not so bad when the warm sun is still out. Even though I didn’t have a bad winter, I am so excited to see signs of Spring everywhere! I took my camera on our walk to the library this morning to capture a few proofs that Spring has sprung!
I love the contrast of the dead pine needles and the new life coming up from them!
The tree in our front yard is blooming!
The mountains have less snow on them now - just the highest ones!
We are walking everywhere again! Who needs a car? 🙂
I wish I could also upload the sounds of the birds and kids playing outside. And the smells of trees blooming and people grilling. Oh Spring, my senses adore you!
