Yes, I am still on maternity leave, BUT, Ali is a friend of mine and I had promised that I would do her maternity photos. It worked out great – she got her pictures and I got to think about something other than a crying baby for a bit.
When I first moved here, Ali and I started to hang out because we had kids the same ages. We quickly became friends and started to discuss how we both liked the idea of having three kids. Well, we both got pregnant with our third within weeks of each other. It has been fun to go through pregnancy with her and I look forward to sharing many baby joys and frustrations together. As I’ve said to another friend, “At least we are in the same boat, even if the boat is sinking!”
