This was a different session for me, for several reasons. First, this is my very own nephew! My baby brother, who was only 7 years old when I left the house for college, is now a daddy. That’s mind-blowing to me. But here he is! Sweet Lincoln was born several weeks ahead of his due date, right before Christmas, so it worked out for me to drive out to Kansas and take some newborn photos of him! I brought as much stuff as I could, but these were done in their house, with a window instead of my usual studio lighting. I’m still really happy with how they turned out. I love the mix of some posed photos with the lifestyle look when his parents are holding him. This is the best gift I could have given them, and myself! I had such a great time capturing these first sweet, sleepy days that they will never get back! Welcome to the world Lincon!! I can’t wait to know you and be your aunt!!
